Ok, so the title doesn't really make sense. But here's a list of all the funky foods I have tried on my travels (I will constantly update it).
Thailand:
Bamboo worms - pretty tasteless
Silkworm larvae - bit like huhu grubs
Cambodia:
Crickets - fried, one is ok but a handfull is too much
Snails - steamed, they had little flavour
Vietnam:
Frog - a favourite. Baby ones whole or the legs of the old. Both are great!
Dog - a bit like dark pork. Some people love it but a bit fatty for me
Cat - I wish!
Laos:
Wasp larvae - tasteless huhu grub
Piranha - I have my doubts. It looked right but still. Tasted like any fish does.
Rhinoceros beetle - big, black and pops in your mouth. Really quite yum.
India:
