Dinner was off the side of the road too. Prawns, fried rice, fried veges, pork, chicken etc. We ate with this Dutch guy we met at he hostel and shared meals. Cost a dollar a dish (kiwi). Then we had some like doughnuts for dessert (2 bhat each or about 8cents i think). Food is dirt cheap! And botled water is like 2L for 50c too. Which is good cause we're drinking bucket fulls!

e also went to some tourist streets like Chao san (or somthing like that) where you can again buy anything you want really cheap (inlcuding numerous hushed offers for Thai ladies - right in front of the police!). The street is FULL of westerners and is quite weird after a day around Thai. We're going to avoid places like that as much as possible from here on in. Prt of Bangkok though so we had to see it. And we might stay here another night before heading north so will go out tomorrow night there too.
Can't wait for the South to hit the beaches though! Life in a hammock! Bliss!
